Unique handmade necklace with 29 Fordite beads hand cut by the artist. Strung on 22” soldered sterling cable chain, 11” beaded area. The round sterling spacers grip the chain so the beads don’t slide but can be gently adjusted.
Rare item, made and sold by the artist (me). Fordite (Detroit agate) is old automotive paint formed from the buildup of layers on the racks on which cars were spray painted by hand. I cut and shaped each bead from the raw material to create this piece specifically, ranging from 15mm to 7mm.
